	2010 Event Calendar

CMMFC Meeting Dates...
From this point forward, we normally have short meetings at shows to review our agenda and plan for the next show. If you are interested in getting membership information, simply pick a show (or Thursday Night Cruise In at Andy’s Custard in Columbia) and we will get you hooked up!

CMMFC Show Dates...

Mike Kehoe Car Show and Cruise
This event is currently scheduled for May 1st at Mike Kehoe Auto Group, 807 Southwest Blvd. in Jefferson City, Missouri. The show is from 10am until 3pm with registration beginning at 9am. This is an all Ford Show held Saturday. It is open to Mustangs, Falcons, Fairlanes, Mercurys, Comets, Galaxies, LTD, Thunderbirds and all Ford and Ford powered cars and trucks. Mike Kehoe Auto Group will be food and soda during the show. Don't forget to visit the Ford Accessory store in the showroom. Club members (in Columbia) will plan on meeting at Andy’s to Caravan down at 7:30 am and depart at 7:50 am for arrival at Kehoe approximately 8:30 am.

Kirksville Toy Drive There is a Toy Drive that will take place in Kirksville on May 2nd. It is a donation or new toy event to raise money and gifts for the Battered Woman’s Shelter in the area. The event will be held at the Restaurant in the State Park and estimate about 1.5 or 2 hour drive. We will meet at Bass Pro and depart by 1:00 pm arriving in time for a late lunch in the park about 3:00 pm.

Rick Ball Car Cruise, Boonville, MO
This event will be the first ever, and hope to be, annual Cruise in held in Boonville, Mo. It is scheduled for May 15th, 2010 and will take place at 1700 West Broadway (Highway 50) just east of Highway 65 intersection. A copy of the flyer will be posted soon. It will be open to either Fords or Chevys.

Machens Spring Pony Roundup
This event will be held on May 22th, 2010, at Joe Machens Ford in Columbia, Missouri. It is open to Mustangs and Ford cars and trucks as well as Mercurys and Comets.

Fulton Sutherland Show This show will be held on Saturday June 5th, 2010 in Fulton, Missouri and is hosted by David Beaver. It will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The club will meet at the McDonalds on Stadium at 8:30 am to caravan over to the show.

Centralia AnchorFest Show This show will be held on Sunday June 6th, 2010 in Downtown Centralia, runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is a judged event. We will also be meeting at the Stadium McDonalds at 8:30 am.

CMMFC Annual Club Car Show
This year, 2010, is our 28th Annual Car Show. This is an all Ford Show held on June 27th (Sunday), and will have a new venue at Parkade Plaza in Columbia MO and is open to Mustangs, Falcons, Fairlanes, Mercurys, Comets, Galaxies, LTD, Thunderbirds and all Ford and Ford powered cars and trucks. Car registration begins at 9am and ends at 12 noon when voting begins(Best of Show). In meeting with MCA guidelines, NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED. Check out a few images from the show on past show pages. Class winners and trophies will be awarded beginning at 3pm. There are prizes and raffles, and trophies awarded. Boonville Car Show
This event is open to all makes and models however the club will be parked together at the show. This year, 2010, the event will be held on a weekend in June, check back for exact date. Details will be forth coming so check back often, mark your calendars and plan to spend the date with us.

Jim & Duane’s Excellent Adventure This show (aka “266 mile car wash”) will be held in Bloomfield, IA on August 15th, 2010. The two members mentioned above made the trip last year in their Classic ‘69’s and one won a HUGE trophy. It is our assumption that this year the weather will be a bit more cooperative and we can have a few more members make this cruise up to the show.

Camdenton Car Cruise There is a Car Cruise / Show & Shine planned for August 8th in Camdenton. It is a grassy venue and tents are allowed. Main course dish is provided (BBQ...yum) and everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish. No judging , just a bunch of people that enjoy cars. Normally starts around 11:00 am and runs to whenever...

Jamestown Car Show
This event is open to all makes and models however the club will be parked together at the show. It is always held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (September 4th, 2010) so plan to spend the date with us. This show is a 35 miles run from Columbia using I-70 and Highway 179. Always good food, nice cars and a lot of fun.

Ford Fest, Kansas City International Raceway This will be the 5th Annual Ford Fest and is head in Kansas City (Independence, MO.) at the KCIR Drag strip. It is hosted by the AC Cobra Club and others and includes the opportunity to both show your ride and race as well. We attended last year and had a great time. This year, the date set is for September 11th, 2010 and hope that the weather will cooperate again. Here is a link to the event homepage for this great event.

19th Annual Ozark Ham & Turkey Festival, California, MO Last year we made our first trip to the California Turkey Festival Car Show. This is an all makes / models event sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and is about 40 miles south west of Columbia. This year the event will take place on Saturday September 18th, 2010. The show itself take place at the Fairgrounds but there is all kinds of events and displays happening Downtown as well. River City Cruisers car Show, Hermann MO
We are planning to attend the Car Show in the Hermann City Park on Sunday September 12th, 2010. Nice grass parking and some shade trees. We will use our usual meeting points and cruise down 63 to 94 into Hermann on Highway 19. Last year, 2009, there were over 250 registered cars at this show. Fantastic turnout of some amazing vehicles. If you are into car shows, this is a must attend!

Pilot Grove Harvest Festival This is an annual event that takes place on the third Saturday of October (17th). Craft and food booths, car and motorcycle shows featuring Corvettes and Mustangs and an Ugly Truck contest, enter our many contests-pie baking, pedal pull, baby contest, washer board tournament and karaoke singing contest for all enthusiasts wishing for a little competition. It is always a bit cool and breezy but a fun show, great for the entire family!Old Jail and pie auction. Enjoy the petting zoo, face painting, pony rides and many activities in the Kids Area.

CMMFC Monthly Cruises...

Jefferson City Cruise
We attend the Jefferson City cruises every fourth Saturday evening each month during the season at 5:30 pm. We meet near Arias Pizza on High Street. We want to meet you and have you become part of the "Central Missouri Mustang and Ford Club." All you have to have is a passion for Fords! Should start in April, details to follow.

Bass Pro Shops Cruise
We attend the monthly Saturday cruises held at Bass Pro Shops north parking lot on the second Saturday of each month at 5:30 pm. This is our monthly club meeting location currently. We want to meet you and have you become part of the "Central Missouri Mustang and Ford Club." This is not a car show and every make and model is welcome. Should start in April, details to follow.

Club Cruises
These are determined each year and might include a run to Springfield, St. Louis or another car show or event in Missouri. If you have or know of a car show or cruise please let me know.

CMMFC Weekly “Hot Summer Nights” Cruises...

Thursday evenings beginning April, 2010 at 6:30 the Club will be at Andy's Frozen Custard shop on Nifong in Columbia Missouri. If you are a member of the Central Missouri Mustang and Ford Club you will be issued a Buy One, Get One card. We will park on the east side of the parking lot for about an hour each Thursday evening and enjoy the summer, cars and custard.
